What do you look for when hiring a photographer?

Hiring a professional photographer can be stressful to an extent; especially if you don't know what you're looking for. So, here's a few things you need to look for:
  1. If they don't have a website then they're more than likely NOT a professional. I say this because having a website with all of their information on it is crucial to owning a business. You want someone who isn't lazy and by having a website that shows professionalism. It takes a whole lot of time and effort to make a website + keep it up!
  2. Ask yourself what kind of editing you like! There are so many ways to edit a photo and there are tons of photographers who edit different ways! So be sure you look over their work on Facebook and Instagram to see what you like.
  3. Message them and ask questions you might have, to see if they're a good choice. Usually by talking to them a few times you can tell if your vibes are going to clash or not.
  4. Last but not least, try to find out if they're an official business. If they're legit and know what they're doing then they will defiantly have a business license.
